Merry Holiday Wishes from Caframo Lab Solutions
As another year approaches its end, it seems fitting that the excitement and anticipation of the upcoming holidays also arrives at this time, culminating the good cheer. In this spirit the Caframo Lab Solutions team sends our warmest holiday wishes and appreciation to you, our customers, as we celebrate the conclusion of a successful 2018.
Notable events for this year must include the Crossover 1540. Introduced to the market in 2017, interest and demand for the 1540 gained momentum into 2018. Users were excited to buy a ½ hp mixer with touchscreen controls, datalogging, remote control and programmability features, a unique product in the marketplace. Now in operation in the field, we have been hearing feedback how techs love their 1540’s performance and portability. We were encouraged to keep going and build bigger!
Responding to demand for a larger diameter impeller with Caframo quality, 2018 saw the launch of the A561. A pitched blade turbine (PBT) of 100 mm (4 in), the A561 creates a combination of axial and radial flows with moderate shear, expanding Caframo’s variety of impellers to encompass a broadening range of stirring challenges. Interest and feedback has shown the A561 to be a welcome addition to the chemist’s and formulator’s impeller options.

Caframo’s growth in business has led to connecting with more end users to learn and better understand their needs. Part of this networking included attending the American Coatings Show and the Gulf Coast Conference, two new events for Caframo. Both were valuable opportunities to introduce Caframo products and meet Caframo users in the paint, adhesives, coatings, petroleum and specialty chemical markets.
The year ended on a high note with Caframo being presented the 2018 Business of the Year (25+ Employees) Award by the Owen Sound & District Chamber of Commerce, validating the company’s vision and direction.
