Caframo Stays the Course… differently
It is a struggle to find the words to describe the year 2020. As COVID-19 impacted both professional and personal lives, Caframo proved its agility by rapidly implementing company-wide changes to address unforeseen and evolving challenges. Employee health and safety, serving our customers, and maintaining Caframo in a healthy business position were 2020 themes.
As well as navigating these many uncertainties this year, we have been able to celebrate some successes. Caframo is growing! At the beginning of the year Caframo Europe BV launched in the Netherlands. In addition to being Great Place to Work Certified for the 2020-2021 year, Caframo received the additional distinction being placed on the 2020 List of Best Workplaces™ in Manufacturing.
The year ended on a high note when Caframo became a Certified Living Wage Employer – a goal visualized in 2014. Caframo is proud to be the first manufacturer in the Grey-Bruce region to receive this designation from the Ontario Living Wage Network, and is committed to remain a Certified Living Wage Employer moving forward.
While Caframo Lab Solutions operates very differently than how we started the year, our action plan is unchanged:
- Stay the course in how we serve our customers. Whether we are on site or work-from-home, your inquiry will connect with a live person during business hours.
- Stay the course to be always in stock. With rearranged production lines, staggered shifts, increased cleaning and new on site entry protocols, we work hard to keep our production, order fulfillment, and shipping staff safe to fill customer orders when they are needed.
- Stay the course in connecting to customers and listening to their needs. Whether meeting in person or virtually, we actively engage to learn how we can better provide stirring solutions for today and future priorities.
As we reflect upon the ending of this year, we are proud to say Caframo is focusing on our future in 2021 and beyond. We welcome the coming year to continue to build quality products, initiate and strengthen business partnerships, and support you in your mixing success.
