Caframo at Pittcon 2017
An anticipated spring tradition, Caframo attended Pittcon 2017 held this year in Chicago. While attendance was down at this year’s analytical chemistry expo, those who were present were very engaged in discussing business and seeing the new products available this year.
Lab managers, scientists, researchers, and other corporate representatives came from all around the world. After the United States the next countries most represented were China, Canada, Japan, Mexico and the UK. Activity at the expo included learning new developments in the industry, speaking with suppliers, and meeting with customers. Several educational sessions set up within exhibiting booths grabbed the attention of people passing by.
Thanks to our dedicated distributors, the 250 and high torque models 1850 and 3030 continue to have high recognition for their versatility in a wide array of applications and industry sectors. Meetings with our key partners reinforced and enhanced relationships as Caframo products were discussed, ensuring updated product information is available for end users throughout our distributor network. Another notable event included the LPA Speaker Series Breakfast, an opportunity provided with our LPA membership. Joshua Waldman, PhD, of the Cleveland Research Company presented information on the industrial market and trends being observed. Many exhibits on the show floor proudly displayed their LPA membership signs.
Pittcon continues to see a number of scientific disciplines such as life sciences, drug discovery, and energy/fuel, among others, whose presence keeps the conference dynamic and strong. Next year’s event will be held in Orlando from February 26 to March 1, with the exposition changing to a three day event. We look forward to “Seeing Science in a New Light”, and what other changes may be in store in 2018.
