NYSCC 2017 in New York City

Already a highly anticipated event, the change of venue for this year’s NYSCC’s Suppliers’ Day added even more interest and Caframo was excited to be a part of it. NYSCC Suppliers’ Day had its debut in downtown New York – its popularity outgrowing the original location in Edison, New Jersey.

A notable occasion in the cosmetics and personal care industries, this year’s Suppliers’ Day brought together ingredient suppliers, equipment manufacturers, service providers, formulators, and others to introduce new products and discuss developments in the market. Caframo enjoyed holding conversations with longstanding users of Caframo overhead stirrers, and introducing our products to attendees looking for solutions to their mixing challenges – like how to effectively disperse zinc. Creating an emulsion is key to most cosmetic manufacturers, and mixing equipment used to create stable emulsions is a frequent topic discussed.

Caframo’s success within cosmetics and personal care formulation was affirmed by the attention we received from attendees.  The 1850 and 3030 high torque models are always identified as versatile benchtop stirrers effective for a wide range of applications, from thick creams and lotions to shampoos and fragrances.  Anchor paddles and our sweep U044SW attracted a high level of interest.  The power and portability offered by the new Caframo Crossover 1540 wowed chemists at our booth.  It sparked incredible enthusiasm for drum volume mixing for premixes, pilot, and small scale production.

With over 7000 delegates attending and the activity and energy at peak levels, this year’s event predicts continued success at the Javits Center.  We are booked to come back to New York for next year’s Suppliers’ Day in 2018.  Visit booth 1448 in NYC, May 15-16.  We wouldn’t miss it!
