Caframo at 2016 SWSCC Suppliers’ Day

As Caframo continues to expand its presence in cosmetic formulation and contract manufacturing facilities, it was a natural fit to attend the Suppliers’ Day organized by the Southwest Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SWSCC).  While this was our first occasion to attend, it was no surprise that we met up with career-long users of Caframo overhead stirrers, as well as introduced attendees to Caframo products for the first time.

Caframo’s high torque stirrer line features models that are the workhorse for many end users. The BDC3030 was recognized for its ability to successfully mix lotions and creams, and the reversing and timer features of the BDC2010 reversing digital stirrer also captured attendees’ attention.  A popular attraction was the extensive range of impellers available from Caframo, drawing in people as they passed by the booth.  Much interest was expressed in the variation in styles and sizes, enhancing the versatility of Caframo stirrers with a quick change of impeller.

Since Caframo sells its laboratory products only through distributors, the event was a great way to connect with end users in cosmetics, personal care, cleaning products and pet care.  Such conversations provide direct feedback to us for product improvement and help us better understand market needs.  We now set our sights forward to the NYSCC Suppliers’ Day in May 2017, and are excited to experience it at the new venue, the Javits Convention Center in New York City.
